The Palestinian-Lebanese-Syrian-Iranian Terrorism Nexus

In an interview, published in the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag on March 6, Zakaria Zubeidi, chief of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in Jenin, stated “without the assistance of our Hezbollah brothers we would not have been able to persist with our struggle…they [Hezbollah] give us funds, arms, training, and support.” Zubeidi added, “We coordinate our operations with them”.

Hizballah, the Shi‘a Islamist terrorist group based in southern Lebanon, is sponsored and funded by its co-religionist Shi‘a brothers in Iran. Iran’s fellow Islamic outcast allies, the Alawī regime in Damascus channels the funds through to Hizballah who, when they’re not launching Katyushas at northern Israel or attempting to kidnap Israeli soldiers, spend their time providing money, weapons and organizational expertise to Fatah’s al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade. It’s all one big happy family isn’t it? (Hat tip: imra.org)
