More on the War

Nice picture, no? Kofi Annan cosy's up to a mass-murdering Islamist War-Monger in June 2000 (it's Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah, for anyone fortunately unfamiliar with his face) . All captions welcome.

Nasrallah: Sorry for Killing Arab Kids, I Was Aiming at Jewish Ones

Hassan Nasrallah apologised for killing two Arab children but explained that he hadn’t really meant to hit them. We can infer from the absence of apologies about Israeli civilians that he’s murdered that he is in fact attempting to carry out a racist war against Jews as the Jerusalem Post points out

“The murder of seven-year-old Omer Pesachov and his grandmother Yehudit Itzkowitz at Moshav Meron on July 14, for instance, was obviously no cause for apology. Young Omer was fair game and legal prey because he was Jewish”.

The Gubernator (a.k.a Arnold Schwarzenegger) stands for Israel

There is nothing Israel wants more than to live in peace. That is why I am happy to be here to be supportive of that here today ...Am Israel Chai...I'll be back, said the governor.

A good article from Michael Portillo in The Times

“If Hezbollah remains in control of large parts of Lebanon, then that country cannot enjoy stability and Israel will not gain peace even if it continues to withdraw from occupied areas. For Israelis only the prospect of security justifies the trading of captured land”.

“But the present Israeli government was elected to make peace and did not depart from that course of its own volition. Its struggle against Hezbollah fits into a complex global jigsaw of battles against terror”.

The U.N. makes me ill. Somehow Israel is a war criminal against innocent civilians, but Hezbollah is innocent with their killer rockets? What?!?!
Kofi and Nasrallah...what a team.
