Hizballah Use UN Posts As Cover To Fire Rockets

What you don’t hear from the BBC, CNN, et al is that Hizballah have been consistently using UN posts to fir their rockets from to a) lessen the chance they’ll be targeted by the IDF there and b) reap the ultimate PR victory when the IDF does fire back as happened.

Canadian UN observer Major Paeta Hess-von Kruedener who was one of the four UN observers killed on Wednesday 26 July sent an email to his former commander Major-General Lewis MacKenzie six days beforehand.

YnetNews reports: ‘The UN post, he [Hess-von Kruedener] wrote, provided a view of the “Hizbullah static positions in and around our patrol Base”’.
